Hi all!

Have been really busy lately! Our garden came in and I've been shelling peas and shucking corn like crazy lately. And today...I get to cut and put up okra!!

My crafting is suffering tremendously and I think I'm actually going through withdrawal...BUT my family's tummies will appreciate it this winter LOL!!

Sooooooo...until the gardening is finished and my wittle fingers are numb...I will be MIA on the crafting front.

Hi Beautiful!

I have a friend that isn't feeling so well right now and this card was made with her in mind.

This wonderful digi is by Saturated Canary called Blanche. Isn't she about the hottest babe around? I loved her the minute I saw her!! She's colored with my Promarkers (which I'm still learning to use -teehee- and I'm loving them). And she is sprayed with Perfect Pearls Perfect Pearl Mist...that's why she looks a little spotty...it's the shimmer.

The card has papers from My Minds Eye-Six by Six-Happier, hem tape ribbon, a pin that I made and other various stuff from my stash. I used some Spellbinders Dies as well as word stamps from the Paper Studio.

I hope my friend, and you, likes this! Let me know what you think... LOL

 Hi all!

Just a couple more of the "thanks"that are due from me...I plan to send these out pretty soon to a few people that I owe a great big thank you.

The papers came from my stash as scraps and the sentiment stamp is a stash stamp (I think Michaels dollar bin) and the pearls are from there as well.

 

 

Now I just have a couple more to make...I want to send them all out at the same time, so the sooner I get started on the others the faster they will be mailed. LOL

one more for Dad

Hi all!

Just thought I would have one more share for Dad before the big day!

I was going for the slight steampunk look...faux metal and all! I think I accomplished it...

...what do yo think?

I used various Tim Holts stamps and Distress Inks, miscellaneous background stamps, Distress crackle paint (rock candy), various Perfect Pearls, brad from my stash, my TH Tiny Attacher, and last but definitely least, my Black Cat Lynx.

Father's Day

 Hi all!

I hope and pray that today finds you well! 

I've had a little time to play in my studio ( haha...I wish!) seriously, it's a room that I share with the  ironing board and pantry...but hey, it's my play room!

Anywho, I have a couple of Father's Day cards made and still in the process of a couple more. The first is made with BoBunny papers, Tim Holtz stamps & distress inks, twine, computer printed sentiment and a ticket svg I made in MTC and cut with my Black Cat Lynx. (awesome machine, by the way)

 

The second card is made with My Minds Eye papers and Tim Holtz stamps and computer generated sentiments. This one is for my son (shhhh...don't tell). It suits his personality perfectly!!

Something a little different...

Hi all! I hope this finds you having a great day!

I wanted to share with you something so completely NOT paper related.

I love to design jewelry pieces and this is what I'm offering for today...

The first set (necklace and cuff) were made a couple of months ago...I was playing around with a few found pieces and was kinda going for a mild "steampunk" look....I hope I succeeded...

The second set, bracelet and necklace, are a copper set that was made to go with a pair of earrings I've had for, oh, maybe 5 years or so, and just never had anything that I could wear with them to make them a "set". (They are a teardrop hoop with coins hanging.) So I decided I would just make my own, and here is the result of that!

I hope you like them.
